Carragher, Edward "Ted"

CARRAGHER, Edward "Ted"

1932 - 2023

In loving memory of Mr. Edward (Ted) Carragher who passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Lodge, surrounded by family, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the age of 90.

Mr. Carragher is survived by his loving children Sean Carragher (Laureen), Lesley Carragher (Joel), Michele Egan (Scott), his grandchildren, Kelsey, Graeme, Brealey, Mya and Maxim. He also leaves behind his brother in law André LeSage, and his nephews Alexandre and David.

Ted retired from Northern Telephone and the New Liskeard Police and Fire Department . One of his greatest accomplishments was his 40 years service with the Canadian Military, specifically the 2344 Algonquin Regiment Army Cadet Corps.  Ted was devoted to his family. He loved to hear from and about his children and grandchildren. His devotion to his wife was unwavering, even in her final years with dementia.

Ted has returned to the loving arms of his wife Jeannine, waltzing together for eternity.

A special thank you to the amazing staff at the Temiskaming Lodge for their wonderful care and compassion.

The family will be celebrating his life privately.

Your father was a pillar of our community. He most certainly made it better because of his many contributions. But none were more important than his precious legacy...his beautiful family. Mes sympathies.

Marshella and I are so sorry to hear of Uncle Ted's passing! We are keeping all of you in our prayers! Summers always remind me of Uncle Ted and Aunt Jeannine visiting us in Montreal or our family visiting them in New Liskeard! It was Uncle Ted who taught me how to waterski (not that I was a great student!!). He was a wonderful man and a great friend to my Dad as well!! Our sincere condolences!!
