God bless you at this very difficult time! I worked with Ed through the '80's at Ottawa Gas. That was my pleasure and benefit. I could always rely on Ed's insight and sense of fair play. His consistent sense of humour always helped especially when the "going got tough". Good memories.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Ed was such an amiable fellow, we always enjoyed your visits. I smiled each time I heard Granny Cox telling us stories of how Ed would come into her house and hunt for her home made cookies. He even found them when she hid them in the furnace air vents! Always a character, always with a smile on his face. We are thinking of you and your ffamily at this sad time. Keep your memories in your heart and speak of him often.

Dear Yvette and the kids,
I was so sad to learn of Ed's passing. Dad sat at my kitchen table last night and told me a few fun stories about Ed from their basic training in 1956 and from their tours in Alert. I could just picture him playing practical jokes on unsuspecting people.
You've both been such good friends to Mum and Dad over the years, and I know that Ed will be sorely missed. I am remembering his smile, his teasing and his generosity. I'll be thinking of you all in the weeks to come.
