BROWN, Edna

1935 - 2023

It is with huge broken hearts the family announces the passing of our dear mother Edna Brown Buzzell, peacefully at the Intensive care unit at the Magog hospital with her children by her side, on November 12, 2023, at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late Noble Buzzell whom she missed dearly.

She leaves to mourn her 7 children: Dale (Lisa), Douglas (Elaine), Catherine (Denis), Patricia (James), Judy (Allen), Barbara (Réjean) and Steven (Trudy), her 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also, her brothers and sister: Jack, William, Stanley, Jane and their spouses, many nieces, and nephews.

We wish to thank the Palliative care unit at the Magog hospital for the wonderful and passionate care they gave our mother each and every day while she was in their care till her journey home again. Dre Trudel and the staff were all great. We wish to say a special thank you to this team with such big hearts, kind and comforting words and care. They were not only there for our mother but made it an easier more compassionate journey for each and everyone in our family. It takes special people for this, and we want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

As a wish of our mother there will be not visitation. A graveside service will take place at a later date for family and friends. At this time, we will say goodbye to both of our parents together.

In lieu of flowers, donation would be greatly appreciated to the C.A.B. Stanstead, 112, rue Principale, Stanstead, J0B 3E5, or Palliative Care at the Magog Hospital, 50 rue St-Patrice Est, Magog, QC, J1X 3X3.

The family

My sincere condolences to you for your loss. I was so pleased to connect with Edna again at the Legion dances in Ayer's Cliff. I knew her when she lived across the road from us at Kingscroft and her father drove us to Sutton school.
