Peacefully at the Wales Home, Richmond, Que., on Monday July 27, 2009, Dorothy Gilchrist, in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Herbert Gilchrist and devoted mother of Harold (Dianne), John (Lee-Ann), Judy (Albert), Joan, Heather, Robert (the late Nancy) and Richard (Carolyn) , Dorothy was the dear grandmother of Linda (Brent), Patrick (Kathryn), Rhys, Douglas (Laurie Ann), Christopher (Kelly), Victoria,(Danny), Shawn, Jennifer, Mitchell, Johnathan and Rebecca. She was the great-grandmother of Jeffrey, Melissa, Gregory, Tyler, Matthew and Derek. She is survived by her brother Sydney (Pat) and her guardian ange,l her sister- in-law, Marjorie Barlow. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), QC (819)-564-1750/ www.casshomes.ca where friends may call onThursday July 30, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday July 31, 2009 from 1 to 2 pm in the Trenholm United Church, Rte 243, Trenholm QC followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev Jim Potter officiating. Interment in the Trenholm Cemetery.
