I am so sorry for your great loss. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I remember Donald as a sweet, soft-spoken, gentle being and feel saddened at his passing…although it is my understanding that his spirit will live on. May he have a speedy, auspicious rebirth. And may you all be well and happy.

With much love and blessings, from his cousin on Gabriola island, British Columbia.

Rowan

Dear Rowan,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a very good friend of mine in high school and early university days. His giving nature, sense of humour and need to be a free spirit are qualities that remain with me. We had a lot of fun together and I will cherish my memories of Don forever.

Rowan Morkis

Hi Rowan, I only just found out about your dad.Words cannot express my sadness. I am very sorry for your loss.
Don and I were friends going back to kindergarten and right through our teens. We had a close friendship for several years living in Vancouver. Although I haven't seen him for a long time , seldom has a week ever gone by that he hasn't been in my thoughts, particularly when I'm out in nature. .He occasionally shows up in my dreams usually as a mischievous trickster.I am blessed for having known him. I can assure you Don was deeply loved by his soul brothers, James Fisk, Jerry Mathews and myself.
I hope you are well .
Yours truly

Don's family and friends

My deepest condolences to you on Don's passing, which I only heard about on February 23rd.
Don and I grew up on the same street in North Toronto; we were friends from grade 2 on. In my teens, I also worked for his father's contracting company.
Don's loyalty as a friend was especically important during the first years of high school, when adapting to the formidable changes of that time in life was particularly challenging.

My relationship with Donald goes back to his childhood years. Our parents were good friends and our families used to vacation together. I also spent many of my summers working for his dad. My sincerest condolences to you, his close, and extended families.
