1971-2023
John Richard passed away suddenly at the Winchester and District Memorial Hospital on Monday April 3rd, 2023, at the age of 51 years. He is survived by his daughter Brooke Richard, parents Louise Howe and David Richard (Cat), better half Natalie and sisters Claudette Roper, Eva Marie, and Nena Richard. He will also be remembered by his nieces, nephews, and friends.
John had a passion for the game of golf. When he wasn’t golfing, he could be found at the lake entered in another fishing tournament. A buggy ride on the trail was another favourite hobby.
Cremation has taken place, a memorial service to honour his memory will take place at a later date. If friends so desire memorial tributes in memory of John may be made to Soldier On https://www.soldieron.ca/

My brain is not able to comprehend this as a sister nevermind as a parent! My heart is crushed by this for you both! I am so deeply sorry. I love you both so much.
Natalie , I am so so sorry for your loss as well. Im so glad he got to have you in his life. Hug your little man a little bit closer and thank you both for loving John so much!
John touched soooo many people. Everyone that has messaged me, no matter how long ago they last spoke to John, are heartbroken and shocked. Everyone says how huge his smile was and how sweet, special and bigger than life, he is!
Nena, Eva, and all our kids who know and love you, will never be the same. I am so so sorry for such a huge loss. Aunts, uncles, and cousins. Too many to count. I am sorry!
John... My first little man, my JJ, my baby brother.. I am always and forever your Clyde!.
Now, above all of us, Brooke! Your Daddy, lived, breathed and was, always and forever will be, your Daddy! I am so heartbroken for the unimaginable pain you are in. XOXO
Alson my dear sweet Stacey. Thank you sooo much to you, for taking such good care of Brooke through all of this. How horrible to watch ypur baby experience this! I am deeply sorry for your devastating loss too, I am so happy that you and John remained such good friends.
My prayers for everyone us that we are all able to move forward with more smiles and chuckes at John's antics than tears each day.
He would kick our butts for long faces.

RIP buddy...
You will be so sadly missed by so many friends and family members. First thing that went thru my mind was your favorite saying, "cuz i can" man you did .... you left a beautiful impression on this world, you were a genuine, big feeling guy, with a heart of gold. I will always cherish our crazy memories ... golfing, camping, buggy weekends, and sledding. We had tons of fun and a million laughs. Going to miss those times! Love you... but not in a weird way!

My sincere condolences to you on John's sudden passing. I have been working with him for over a year now and we bonded as we both live on the east coast and could commiserate a bit on the bad winter weather and such. He was vibrant and skilled and he will be missed.

Sending my deepest condolences to all John's family. A wonderful man was taken far too soon and I am very sorry for your loss. Sending all my love and support to you all. Take care of each other.
My heart especially goes out to John's beloved daughter Brooke. Your father loved you so much and he was very proud of you. I know that there are no words to make you feel any better right now and I understand just how devastating this loss is. Try and stay strong and lean on your family for support. Your dad will be watching over you until you see him again one day.
I've known John since moving to Fredericton in grade 11 and some of my best memories of those years involve John and our circle of friends. We are going to miss him but he will live on in our hearts and in the memories of the times we had together.
