Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond on Tuesday July 4th 2006, Mr. Dave Gifford in his 92nd year. Loving husband of the late Ida Blake and dear father of Wade (Sharon), Judy (Doug) and Jim (Cindy). Dave also leaves to mourn his 5 grandchildren, Shelly, Dwayne, Kevin, Devin and Jodie, and his 7 great grandchildren, Samantha, Davis, Jillian, Jeremy, Brianna, Jasmine and Abbie. Brother of the late Helen, the late Methel (late Herbert Later), the late Grace, Doris (late Lorne Kydd), the late Elwin (late Bessie), Ray (Rachel), the late Ada, Alton (the late Marina), Eva (late Bill Converse), Pauline (Arthur McClure), and Marion (Bruce Mastine). Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 148 Daniel Johnson St., Danville, (www.casshomes.ca) where friends may visit on Thursday July 6th from 7 to 9PM. A funeral service will be held in St-Augustine's Anglican Church in Danville on Friday July 7th at 2:00PM followed by the interment in the Danville Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wales Home Foundation, 506 rte 243N, Richmond, QC J0B 2H0 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
