1976 - 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Corey James Cassistat on April 5th, 2021, in Kirkland Lake.

Corey is predeceased by his uncle Tim, his grandmother, Sylvia Hartling, and his grandfather, Jack Armstrong.

Corey is survived by his mother, Debra Kearny, his step-father, Brian Kearny, and his father, Gerald Cassistat. He is also survived by his sisters; Jennifer and Corinne, as well as his step-siblings; Sylvia and Blaine. Left to mourn are his children; Julianna, Kaylee, Payton and Ryder, as well as his grandchildren; Brinlynn and Declan. Corey also leaves behind his nephews; Briar and Jacob, his niece, Kathrine, his step-niece, Breena, and his many cousins.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Corey's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.

Corey.

Years have came and left, & still to this day your heavily on my mind, and in my heart. This world is such an Evil place to be, but you ALWAYS made everything that much easier, & way more bearable. I miss being able to run up to your apartment and just escape the world for hours. It really bothers me that you left us at a time when you hated the choices that I was making with my life. I've grown and evolved soo much! More than you or I ever thought I would. I just want you to know that I didn't forget about you my Coco ! There is absolutely no way! & we'll keep this on the low low, but I still try & send you msg through face book, hoping you can somehow see what I'm saying or feeling. I'm more than disgusted with "God" right now. I don't think I 'll ever understand why he makes us feel this amount of pain. The loss of all of my boys these past 3 years, is a sting that stays with you forever and for always. Where ever you are now , I just know for a fact your watching over all of us.
