It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Claire Marie Dessureault, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 87. Dear and sweet wife of Lucien Dessureault, she leaves behind her four sons: Pierre (Joanne Desforges), Jacques (Linda Gaudet), Denis (Sylvie Gravel), Carl (Nathalie Lemieux); eight grandchildren Émilie (Benjamin), Jacques, Myriam (Jérémie), Guillaume, Vicky (Nicolas), Janelle (Miguel), Marie-Pier and Nicolas; three great-grandsons, William, Wyatt and Léo; her brothers, Raymond, Roger (Guy-Paul), Gilles (Reine); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet the family at St. Joseph's Church, Orléans (2757 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans) on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bruyère Village and the palliative care doctors and nurses for their dedication and excellent care of Claire.
For those who wish, a donation to the Bruyère Village Foundation would be appreciated.
