At the Foyer St-Joseph, Sherbrooke, QC ,on Thursday, May 24th 2007 at the age of 87. Chester Hewton Nugent, dearly beloved husband of Rita Porter and precious father of Judy (Don Thornloe), Bonnie (Stephen Lepitre), Robert (Kathie Crowe), Sherry (Carl Turcotte) and Mark (Allison Bennett). Dear brother of Marjorie Moore, Marion (Don MacDonald) and was predeceased by Gwen (the late Charles Robinson). Chester was the cherished grandfather of Tammy Drew (Corey Brooker), Dawn Drew (Dominic Dulude), Michelle and Danny Lepitre and 3 great-grandchildren: Jessica Brooker, Caden and Liam Dulude, and he will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. No visitation. The funeral service will be held at the St-Georges Anglican Church, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) on Tuesday, May 29th 2007 at 11AM with the Rev. Michael Canning officiating. Hi Sherry,

Just came across this posting of your dad.
One of the most easy going Dad's I ever met.

Wish I would've been in the neighborhood to attend.

Still remember you attending my Dad's funeral back in 1981 for which I will be eternally grateful.

Hope you and Judy and Bonnie are doing well.
