Cécile Larocque, née Maheux

It is with great sadness that we announce her passing on November 25, 2018 at the age of 86.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Larocque and loving mother of Jean (Lucie) and Lise Gour (Claude).  She was the dear grandmother of Julie and Nicholas Gour, Mathieu and Stéphane Larocque; cherished sister of Jacqueline, Claire, Paula, the late Claudette, Thérèse, the late Denise, Gisèle, Louise, the late Jean-Claude, Diane and Robert.  She will also be dearly missed by her four great-grandchildren as well as by many relatives.

Visitations will be held at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 11 am to 2 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, same location.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Dementia Society would be appreciated.

Goodbye precious sister whom we loved so. You have taught so much during your lifetime and you were always there for us. . Thank you.
A peace maker withing our family, you always were so forgiving of others and tried to never bad mouth anyone. You loved us all and allowed us our many mistakes without reproach Thank you.
When your husband died he made your son Jean promise to take care of you. Jean full filed that promise in a million ways, a better son could not be found. Thank you Jean&lucie for taking such good care of our sister Cecile. . . She will be deeply mourned and will now forever live in our hearts.
May Gods golden light embrace her until we are all together again . Goodbey mimine.

Cecile's Family

We are greatly saddened to hear of Cecile's passing. We always looked forward to our visits with her and saying the Rosary together at GJA. She was a beautiful lady with a loving soul. We pray that her family will be comforted by Our Blessed Mother and the hope that Cecile is sharing in everlasting Glory. May God bless you!
