Passed peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Gatineau Hospital with her family by her side at age 87. She was pedeceased by her husband Ronald, her father Dalma Lalonde, her mother Gloria Leblond and her brother André Lalonde.

Loving mother of Ronald (Hélène Boucher), Diane, Rhéal (Lise Tully), Sylvie (Daniel Bélisle) and Nicole (Serge Lauzon). Proud grandmother of Yannick, Stevens, Danny, Cheryl, Daniel, Gabriel, Kevin, Zachary, Evan as well as Benoît, Sophie, Jonathan, Jacob and Véronique. She leaves behind many great-grandchildren; her brothers: Rhéal, Donald, Jean-Guy, René and Bernard; her sisters: Desneige, Rena, Yvonne and Françoise as well as a brother-in-law, many sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral Mass at Notre-Dame-du-Très-Saint-Rosaire Church, 5 St-Arthur St. in Gatineau on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the church starting at 9:15 a.m.

For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada at www.alzheimer.ca

The family would like to thank the dedicated personnel of the 4th floor south of the Gatineau Hospital and the Dion Residence for their dedication, compassion, support and excellent care provided to our mother.

La famille Guilbault

Je désire vous offrir mes sincères condoléances lors du décès de Cécile. Cela faisait très longtemps que je ne l'avais pas vue, mais elle était toujours gentille avec moi quand on se croisait. Son époux Ronald était mon premier cousin car son père à lui, Adelard, était le frère de mon père, William, décédé il y a longtemps. C'est dommage qu'elle avait la maladie d'Alzheimer et j'espère qu'elle n'a pas trop souffert longtemps. J'aurais aimé assister a son service mais j'étais en dehors de la ville. Bon courage a vous tous en cette période difficile et elle sera toujours avec vous dans vos souvenirs et vos coeurs.
