Carolyn Edey 

1943-2024

With sadness, we announce the passing of our kind aunt Carolyn who passed away at the Ottawa Hospital on October 15, 2024.  Older sister to John Edey, Carolyn was born on June 1^st, 1943 in Cornwall.  After attending teacher’s college at Ottawa Normal School, she settled in the area and began teaching for the Ottawa Board of Education.  She will be missed by her nieces and nephew, Nadia (Sebastian), Nicholas (Katrina) and Ana (Brock) and their mother Sharon.  

Though your great nieces and nephews Malina, Larisa, Rowan, Ainsley, Isla and Declan will not have the chance to know you as we did, they will be taught about your affinity for dogs, swimming and travel. They will be told that you enjoyed drinking tea, had a sweet singing voice and a kind-hearted nature that could be seen in your blue eyes.

We hope you are off having fun, with your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand!
