MASTINE, Bruce

Bruce Mastine, born Paisley, Scotland, November 11, 1924, entered into peaceful rest at 10:30 a.m. on September 8, 2006 at the Foyer de Richmond. Bruce, the adoring husband, and soul mate of Marion Gifford, loving Dad of Steven ( Susan Morrison ) and Catherine. Cherished Grampa of Daniel, Angela and Brett Mastine, and Isaiah, Django and Taj Lovett. Bruce is survived by his sister, Jean Lyall, his sisters-in-law, Doris Kydd ( late Lorne ), Eva Converse ( late Bill ), Polly McClure ( Arthur ), and brothers-in-law , Ray ( Rachel ) Gifford and Alton Gifford (late Marina). Bruce was predeceased by his brother, Gordon ( Dinah ), sisters and brothers-in-law, Elwin and Bessie Gifford and Dave and Ida Gifford. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. The family will be present at St. Augustine's church, rue du Carmel, Danville, at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday September 14, 2006 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., in the presence of the ashes. As memorial tributes, donations to the Alzheimer Society, 375 Argyle St, Norton Bldg. Office # 0725, Sherbrooke, Que. J1J 3H5 would be appreciated.
