Bonnie Anderson (Pickering) passed away surrounded by her family at her home on September 21, 2024. Bonnie was a beacon of love, kindness and resilience, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Bonnie was born on November 12th, 1940, to parents Leonard and Velma Pickering. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Bonnie was a proud nurse, graduating from St. Joseph’s Hospital program in Toronto. She was an avid reader, talented knitter and had a passion for travel that brought her to many memorable places throughout the world.
Bonnie is survived by her beloved children Sue Anderson (Brent) and Ian Anderson (Janice), her five grandchildren Fiona (Miguel), Alexa, Emily, Rebecca, Siarra, and her great grandchild Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Anderson and her sister Betty Martland (Barrie).
A visitation will be held on Saturday October 5th, 2024 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (2 Mulkin Street Stittsville, Ontario) at 1pm followed by a funeral service at 2pm.
