Dear Pat,
I read about Bill in today's paper. I was shocked and saddened. My heart goes out to you and your family.
Having worked with Bill at PCCNO I have many fond memories of the times we had helping the organization and it's members. Bill was a beacon of hope for all of us, always welcoming and engaging.
I thank you for sharing Bill with us - from 67s hockey games, ride for Dad events, daffodil sales and planting black walnut trees. He was and always will continue to be a ray of sunshine, a fond memory in our lives. My deep condolences go out to you Pat.

As former president of Gerer cancer au Masculin ,a male support group for cancer,.there was no one that gave us more hope and help even though he was chair of Prostate Cancer Canada in Ottawa and had his reponsabilities there. H e was a close friend and I and our group will miss him deeply.

When I first arrived at the Western Quebec School Board the first friendly face I met with an outstretched welcoming hand was that of Bill Dolan. We fast became very good friends, he was my "bud". Although in recent years life took us in different directions he always remained prominent in my thoughts and held a special place in mine and Ita's hearts, there he will always remain "my bud"! Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to you Pat, Aaron and Rachel and their families.
All our love goes out to you at this very sad time.

It is with great sadness that I read about the passing of Bill. The External Affairs families were our relatives while away from Canada and remained so, once we were all back in Ottawa. We were truly lucky to have each other.
Sincerely Yours

We have fond memories of you when you lived on Lakeview Terrace and we were living on Vanier Rd. Every once in awhile we would see Bill out and about and catch up. Bill was one of a kind and he was so likely to have a lovey family. Take care.
With our condolences,

We remember Bill as being a kind and amiable person. We recall that when we had occasion to share some time with you Patricia and Bill that it was always pleasurable and engaging to have a conversation with Bill. There are not many men such as Bill who when you meet them you recognize as being an honourable and good individual.
We were very sorry to hear the news. We are deeply saddened for you Patricia and your Family for the loss you have experienced.

I was so sad to hear the news of Bill's passing.
My very first teaching job was at St. Aloysius School (Greater Gatineau now) and Bill was my very first Principal. I will always remember him for his support, his kindness, and his sense of humour.

Our sincere condolences to you on Bill's passing. He will surely be missed by all the neighbours as he was always out on the street and ready for a good conversation. He was a real trooper having gone through what he did. If there is "anything" we can do for you, please don't hesitate in asking. We're just a few houses away. He will truly be missed. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

I'm fondly remembering my cousin Bill today. We spent a lot of time together in our youth at our grandfather's cottage on the St. Lawrence River. One memory was of Bill being a very good story teller keeping all of us children in great suspense. Sometimes it took a while to sleep afterwards. The other was my last encounter with Bill after my mother's passing in Ancaster Ontario several years ago. After thanking him for travelling so far for this event, he responded with great emotion that he wouldn't have missed this for the world. We were family.
And so I extend warm thoughts and best wishes to his family during this time.
