CRÊTE NÉE KINGSBURY, Berthe

It is with heavy hearts that we annonce the passing of Berthe "Betty" Crête (born Kingsbury) on September 14th, 2024 at the age of 80. Daughter of the late Olive Deslauriers and the late Dominic Kingsbury, she was the beloved wife of the late Conrad "Con" Crête. Loving mother to Rachel (Roy) and Pierre (Kim), most cherished grandmother to Stéphanie (Pierre-Yves), Valérie (Kurt), Elisha (Frank), Casey (Cassey), Jesse and Tyler and an amazing great-grandmother to Miley, Xavier, Ashton, Adam, Noah and Zachary. She also leaves behind to mourn her sisters-in-laws whom she loved dearly Gisele (Bert), Anita (the late André), Claudette (the late Lucien) and Lynn (the late Michel) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded by her brothers Johnny (the late Margo) and Maurice (Bev).

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at 10 am at Saint-Paul Church located at 26, chemin Eardley, Gatineau (Aylmer). The family will receive the condolences as of 9:30 am.

Special thanks to all the staff at the CISSS de l'Outaouais and especially to Valerie Normand who took special care of our mom at home.

Nous tenons à vous dire que nous ressentons tellement une peine profonde d'avoir perdu notre petite-belle soeur préférée, qui nous a quitté pour un monde meilleurs. De plus Berthe avait une grande joie de vivre et un grand sens d'humour. Everytime we had a family gathering she would be the one to make everybody laught .

Sincères sympathies a toute la famille. J'ai connue Berthe lorsque j'ai vendu ma maison a sa fille Rachel. (22 ans passés). (506 rue Court)
Quelquefois je l'ai amener a l'Age d'Or de Deschenes. C'était une personne toujours souriante et attachante. Elle aimait beaucoup jouer aux cartes. Je pense a vous tous.
