MCBURNEY SMITH, Bertha

Passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday April 24th 2006, Bertha McBurney, cherished wife and best friend of Gordon Smith of 65 years, in her 91st year. Dear mother of Wayne and Alanna and loving grandmother of Jennifer (Robert Crampton) and sister of Kenneth McBurney (Marjorie). Bertha was pre-deceased by her sisters Olive (Doug Twyman) and Margaret (Ellis Waldron) and her brother Erwin (Ruth). Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 15 Station St., Sawyerville, QC 819-564-1750 – www.casshomes.ca where friends may visit on Wednesday April 26th from 7 to 9PM. A funeral service will be held in the Sawyerville United Church on Thursday April 27th at 2 PM, with the Rev. Barbara Willard officiating. Donations to the Sawyerville United Church or the Eaton Cemetery Association would be greatly appreciated by the family. Interment in the Eaton Cemetery.
