PATERSON FINDLAY, Audrey

- Our beloved mother, grandma and granny "A" passed away peacefully on May 26th 2005 at the Gatineau Hospital in her 92nd year. Sadly missed by her loving son Harland (Shirley), granddaughter Frances Findlay, Shirley's two daughters, Nancy Wickham and Sandra Henderson (Ron) and great-granddaughters, Jaime, Jessica and Lindsay. She will also be missed by sisters-in-law Leona Rodgers (Sylvester) Ada Cook (Russell) Doreen Findlay (Carl), her brother-in-law Alden Scott (Estelle) and several nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband, Leslie H. Findlay, parents George and Laura Paterson and her beloved sister Doris Flack and grandson Terrance. Audrey was a proud, strong and independent woman who inspired all who came in contact with her. She had an avid interest in the townships and considered Denison Mills her home despite living in Gatineau, QC for the past 70 years. She was totally dedicated to the curling game; as a player, a worker and in later years, a tireless fan. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond QC www.casshomes.ca (819) 826-2502 where friends may call on Thursday, June 9th from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Danville Asbestos Trinity United Church at 11 AM on June 10th with interment to follow at the Danville Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243, Richmond, QC, J0B 2H0, would be appreciated.
