DELORME, André

It is with regret that we announce that Mr. André Delorme passed away on July 15th, 2024, at the age of 79 years. He was the devoted husband of Mrs. Jeannette Delorme (née Roy) and the son of the late Raphaël Delorme and the late Yvette Delorme (née Richer).

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Luc, his daughter-in-law Katherine, as well as several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Carmen and by his brother Maurice (Momo).

Loving, kind-hearted and always helpful, André was a man of strength and integrity, with a remarkable sense of humour.  Always positive despite life's difficulties, André was a person you couldn't help but love.  He leaves us all with countless happy memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives, inspiring us to be our finest selves.

A celebration of his life, in the presence of his ashes, will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 2 pm at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS located at 95 de la Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull sector). The family will receive condolences as of 1:15 pm.

Expressions of sympathy can be made through a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Outaouais Heart Failure Clinic for their excellent care.
