BACON JOHNSTON, Alice

Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond, QC on Saturday, January 7th 2006. Alice Johnston, nee Bacon, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Johnston, and loving mother of Lorah ( John Rodgers ) of Huntsville, On, and Jimmie ( Kristine ) of Orillia, On. Dear grandmother of Tim ( Kelly ), Grande Prairie AB, Karen ( John D. Waite ), Orillia, ON and Mara ( Stefan Wingrove ) of Orillia,On. Alice also leaves to mourn her great-grandchildren; Tyler and Taryn Johnston, Katy and Jack Waite and Lauryn and Alyssa Wingrove, her sister-in-law Julie Bacon, along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale St. S. Richmond, QC ( 819 ) 826-2502 / www.casshomes.ca, where friends may visit on Tuesday, January 10th 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,and on Wednesday from 11 a.m., to 12:45 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the Richmond-Melbourne United Church, 247 Principale St. S. Richmond, QC on Wednesday, January 11th at 1:00PM with the Rev. Reginald Jennings officiating. Interment in the St-James Cemetery, South Durham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wales Home Foundation, 506 Rte 243 N, Richmond, Qc J0B-2H0 or to the St- James Cemetery, c/o Rodney Duffy, 144 12th rang W. South Durham, QC J0H-2C0, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
