MARTEL, Alban

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Hotel Dieu Hospital, Sherbrooke, Qc on Sunday, January 16th 2005 in his 94th year. Alban Ronald Martel, beloved husband of 68 years of Beatrice Charlotte Atkin, dear father of George E. Martel ( Ann White ) and Lorraine Smith, cherished grandfather of Kathleen Martel, Laurie Ann ( Doug McBean ), Brady Smith ( Yolanda ) and Kevin Smith ( Valerie ). Mr. Martel also leaves to mourn his great-grandchildren: Robyn Grey and Mandi- Lee Grey-Smith, Travis Smith, Jeremy Smith and Melissa Ann McBean and his sister-in-law: Ruth Partington. In respect of Mr. Martel's wishes, there was cremation at the Windsor/ Cass Crematorium, 310 St. Georges St. Windsor, Qc.A graveside service will be held at a later date.Donations to the Sherbrooke Geriatric University Institute Foundation, Argyll Pavillon, 1036 Belvedere S.
