1937 - 2024
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jack Ellard Smith on October 5th, 2024 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of the late Georgina Zinook, the son of the late Ellard Smith and of the late Gladys Bigelow.
He will be missed by his sons and daughter: Robert (Barbara), William, Mark (Manon), Arnold (Nicole), Andy, Louis, Steven, Sammy, Kathy (Mike) and Jack Jr. (Sandra); his 15 grandchildren and his 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves his sister Helen (Arnold) as well as many relatives and friends. He will be missed by his beloved dog Duck. He was predeceased by his sisters: Mary, Doris, Merle and Jean.
A Celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 750 Maloney Boulevard East in Gatineau, on Friday October 18th, 2024 at 10 am. The family will receive condolences as of 9:15am.
