It is with with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of

Yvon Dubé

on August 12, 2022, at the age of 90 after a long battle with leukemia.

Beloved husband of Madeleine Dubé (née Boivin), he leaves behind his children: Suzanne, (Jacques), Monic (Santino), Daniel (Danielle) and Stéphane (Julie); his grandchildren: Mélanie, Sébastien (Samantha), Danika and Jamie-Lee; his great-granchildren: Theodore and Kayson. He also leaves behind his brother Jean-Marc (Suzy), his sister Lise (Art) as well as his sister-in-law Hélène (née Gaumont), nephews, nieces, special friends and his `bridge partners``.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank Dubé and Blanche Sincennes and by his brother Gilles.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11 am at Saint Joseph Church, 2757 Saint Joseph Blvd in Orleans. Family will receive condolences as of 10:15.

A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

The family wishes to thank all of the Oncology doctors in the Leukemia Program at the Ottawa General Hospital and the nurses in the Medical Day Care Unit for their special support and the excellent care provided to him. A special thank you to the Promenade Retirement Home in Orleans for all their special support and lastly, the palliative care doctors (from Home Care) who made themselves available at all times when we needed them.

HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL FONDLY REMEMBER HIS HUMOR AND LIVELY SPIRIT.
