Renaud, William (Willy)

RENAUD, William (Willy)

1974 - 2024

William Alexander Renaud - suddenly on August 29th, 2024 at age 50, Willy passed while working on the farm.

Willy was the beloved father of Alexander and Jordan, grandfather of Evie and Miles, god father to Ryan, loving husband to Siobhan and step-father to Shaunna-Rae. He leaves behind his brothers Alain-Albert  (Tina), Danny (Lorie), Gilles (Lisa), sisters Diane (Don), Lucie (Marcel), and Chantal (Ray), many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends left to mourn him who he loved dearly. He is predeceased by his sister (Giselle), mother (Monique), father (Edmund), brother (Ray), and his best friend Joe McMillan who will be welcoming him to heaven.

Willy was a hard-working, loyal, and reliable friend and family man. He was the type of man to give anyone the shirt off of his back and was the person you could call to fix just about anything. Willy was well known and loved by his community and family, and will be missed greatly.

We encourage people to leave their stories of Willy below.

Condolences to the family

Willy,
You will be sadly missed, we lived next door to you on our farm from the time you moved in to when we moved two years ago. We shared many a coffee or tea and had many wonderful talks. You would help us and you do anything for anyone no questions asked. We cried together when we moved, you were like a son to us and you treated us like your parents. We had many memories with you and Chevy and many a laughter.
R.I.P. my friend and hope to see you in the afterlife, condolences to all the family.

This is a piece my daughter wrote for Willy, she was very fond of Willy.

“I can’t get over Willy. Something feels off about his death. Unnatural. He will leave again, hope you know that. The soul returns to the source and releases if need be. “
