MACKAY, William

Mackay, William Douglas ( Doug ) Douglas Mackay entered into rest peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital on Monday, March 14th 2005 in his 93rd year. Douglas was the beloved husband and dearest friend of 65 years of Mabel Alden, also much loved father of Garth ( Marian Bain ), Ross ( Hélène Crête ) and Wendy ( Laurie Nadeau ). He is also survived by his five loving grandchildren: Sean, Shari, Christopher, Karine and Julie; pre-deceased by his brother Lawrence. As memorial tributes, donations to the Kidney Foundation and/or to the Sawyerville United Church, would greatly be appreciated by the family. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home , 15 Station St. Sawyerville, Qc, Tel: 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca where family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 17th 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be at the Sawyerville United Church on Friday, March 18th 2005 at 2:00pm. Rev. Barbara Willard officiating. Interment in the Eaton Cemetery. There will be a Masonic service on Thursday at 7 pm, followed by an Eastern Star service.
