I knew Wayne as a co-worker. Seems to me that I had met him in a hardware store in Sherbrooke not long before he passed away. We talked about our time at Bell. I had the greatest respect for Wayne. My sincere sympathies to all the family.
It is with heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce Wayne Stewart George Gallup of Melbourne, Qc, born on June 30th, 1939 passed away peacefully at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital, Sherbrooke, Qc on December 21, 2019..
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Arlene (nee Brock); proud father to his daughter Kelly (Kent) & son Brent (Natalie); grandfather to Jamey, Chase, JUSTY, & Tanner and great-grandfather to Payton…He will be remembered by his sister, Valerie and his in-laws, Yvette, Richard, & Nancy (William) Brock as well as many cousins, other relatives (Aunt Helen) and many friends…
Wayne was predeceased by his parents , Eldon & Viola (nee Knox) Gallup, his father-in-law, Charles Brock and brother-in-law Steven Brock…
Wayne was a longtime member of the Canadian Hereford & Angus Association and a proud retiree of Bell Canada.. He will always be remembered of his willingness to share his knowledge and his kind heart.
