So sorry for your loss. Will miss chatting with Vern as he did his daily walks around King. Halloween was a great favourite at your house when we were kids as he made us sing or tell a joke to get a treat. Then he told us to stop singing as we were terrible. Sending our deepest condolences

I am so sad to hear about Verne's passing. He was such a great guy and will be missed not only by his love ones, but by all of us who knew and loved him. King Kirkland has lost another old timer. Verne and i had one thing in common and that was for the love of Poms. He could be seen nightly walking his pets through the streets of King Kirkland. To Lois and children stay strong and remember the good times. RIP Verne.

I’m so glad I had the chance to speak with Verne last August. He was always such a light hearted, fun person. I remember when we were kids and we’d drop by your place to pick you up and have a quick chat with Verne and Lois. I love how playfully he teased your mom and that she was always such a good sport. I always felt welcome. I know he will be sorely missed. Such a large presence leaves a huge space that in time will be filled with the loveliest of memories. I’m thinking of you and your family right now and praying that you will be comforted by each other at this time. Love you my friend. Take care.

I am sorry to read of Verne’s passing. I always enjoyed kibitzing with Verne and yourself. It’s funny even now when I see a Werthers candy I think of Verne and smile. Rest In Peace Verne

So very sorry to hear of Verne’s/Dads passing. He was such a light hearted guy, always had a smile on his face. We would always be sure to stop and talk to him when we saw him out walking his four legged buddy around King.
Verne was an institution in our little town and he will be missed by so many.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
