WAY CUNNINGTON, Vera

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont on Monday May 15th, 2006 at the age of 77. Vera Ruth Way, beloved mother of Gerald (Doris), James (Janet), Edmond (Cindy), Donald (Linda), and Jane (Michel Gauvin). Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Vera is also survived by her sister Margaret (Allan Norris) and her former husband, Durwood Cunnington along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Vera was pre-deceased by her brother John Way. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St., Sherbrooke (formally 6 Belvidere St., Lennoxville) (819) 564-1750 / www.casshomes.ca , where friends may visit on Thursday May 18th from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 1 to 2 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday May 19th at 2:00pm, with Mr. Fred Robertson officiating. Interment in the Malvern cemetery will be held at a later date. Donations made to the Quebec Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the staff of the London Residence for their wonderful care.
