PETERS TURCOTTE, Thérèse

1928 – 2016

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Peters Turcotte at the Coaticook Hospital on December 5^th 2016, at the age of 88.  Long-time companion to the late Roland Cormier and daughter of the late John Peters and the late Tekla Giran.

Visitation will be held at the Cass funeral Home, 545, Dufferin, Stanstead, on Saturday December 17, 2016 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life.  Interment at a later date.

She leaves to mourn her daughters Joanne and Ginette (Marcel Faucher).  She was predeceased by her daughter Theresa.  She will sadly be missed by her grandchildren: Jason (Misty) and Eric (Marilyn) Poitras, Ghislain and Jeremy (Annie) Noël, Daniel (Julie) and Brigitte Faucher as well as her 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She also leaves many nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Josée Lévesque, social worker at the CLSC Coaticook, for the wonderful care and devotion given to Mrs. Peters and her caregivers.

Donations to the Coaticook hospital Foundation, C.P. 293, Coaticook, QC, J1A 2T7, or to the Eastern Townships Alzheimer Ass., 740, Galt West, suite 112, Sherbrooke, QC, J1H 1Z3, would be appreciated by the family.
