SPARKS, Susan Lynn

1961 - 2023

Susan Lynn Sparks

May 10th 1961 - September 29th 2023.

On September 29th, 2023, after a short but valiant fight with cancer, Susan (Sue) Sparks passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Sue was a spitfire with a heart of gold who dedicated her life to her family, friends and faith.  At 18 she met the love of her life Perry Sparks, they shared 44 wonderful years together and had a marriage most people dream about, even being lovingly referred to as Romeo and Juliet.

Together they had 3 children Sarah, Cherisse and Keenen. To say Sue was a wonderful mother would be an understatement.  She created special bonds with each of her children so much so that as adults she became their best friend.

Born on May 10th 1961 to her wonderful parents Jim and Barbara Muir, she grew up in a home filled with love and laughter alongside her brother David (wife: Linda nieces: Taylor and Jamie) and sister Karen all whom she loved dearly.

Sue loved to laugh, dance and she made an impact on the lives of many, her motherly nature spilled over onto anyone who needed love, guidance or just a listening ear and use to say there are no friends with us, just more family.

The only thing she loved more than her family was Jehovah and through her sickness she courageously remained faithful to him to the end trusting in the words of John 11:25. Sue embodied Prov 31:25-31 and will be missed beyond comprehension by all that had the privilege to know her.

A memorial service will be held on October 16th 2023 from 2 pm to 3 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1985 N. Park Drive Brampton, ON L6S 4G2.

I was so very saddened to hear about Sue, your wife and your mom. I have happy memories of her and can still hear her laugh.

Death is for sure an enemy and I pray that Jehovah give you peace in your heart and the strength to go on till you can hold her tight once again.
