 Passed away at the Coaticook Hospital on Saturday, December 17, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Marie-Ange Lachance and cherished father of: Solange (Jean-Marc Routhier), Roger, the late Gilles (Yvette Ashby, Michel (the late Marie Fauteux), Lisette (Gérard Carbonneau), Gérald (Francine Fauteux), Jean-Paul (Clémence Côté), and Patricia (Jocelyn Girard); Roméo will also be sadly missed by his 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren along with his sister Rita (the late Alcide Lefebvre), sister-in-law Juliette Paquette (the late Eugéne Lachance), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough, Ayer’s Cliff 819-876-5213 /www.casshomes.ca on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 where friends may visit from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 22 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.. The service will be held in St. Wilfrid Church in Kingscrolt at 11 a.m.. Interment will take place in the spring. The family wishes to thank the personnel at the Coaticook Hospital and Dr. Natashia Bird for the wonderful care given to their father. As a tribute to his memory, donations made to the Coaticook Hospital, 138 Jeanne Mance, Coaticook J1A 1W3 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
