It is with regret that we announce the passing of

Rolande Lecompte (née Pagé)

She passed away on the 27th of November 2018, at 90 years old.

Rolande was the daughter of Théophile Pagé and Gertrude Chartrand. She will be missed by her children, Denis (Margaret), Richard (Louise) and Lorraine (Jean-Claude) as well as her grand-children Patrick, Ariane, Tristan and François-Gabriel. She leaves her brother Laurent and sister Jeanne D’Arc. She was predeceased by her brother Donat and sisters, Annette, Florence, Thérèse, and Jeanne-Claire. She worked for many years in the accounting department at Algonquin College and had been retired for the last 25 years. We wish her all a well deserved eternal respite.

Visitations will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes on December 5th, from 6 pm to 9 pm.  

The funeral mass will be held on December 6th, 11 am, at the Cathedral St-Joseph, 245 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Gatineau.

The family would like to thank the fabulous personnel at the Hull Hospital for their excellent and attentive care during her brief stay. It was of great solace.

Denis, Richard and the Lecompte family

I was so saddened to hear of Rolande's recent passing and offer my sincere condolences. "Mrs. Lecompte" was always kind and welcoming to me. I have many fond memories of happy times spent with her, especially going for brunch or dinners on special occasions to celebrate mother's day or birthdays. I remember Daly's and Japanese Village were among her favorites. I will always remember her as an elegant and very graceful lady, and treasure those memories.
