Morin, Robert Vincent

MORIN, Robert Vincent

1936 - 2023

Vincent Morin passed away peacefully at the Hôtel Dieu d’Arthabaska (Victoriaville) on Friday August 18th, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, grand-father and great grand-father. He was a person who loved to tease friends and family; he always had a smile and kind word for everyone he met. One of his greatest pleasures was to entertain and be surrounded by family and friends. He loved to work with wood, creating furniture and memories with his grandchildren.

Vincent leaves to mourn his loving wife of 63 years Carole Batt, his beloved children Trenholm (Wanda), Scott (Sylvie), Karen (Robert). His grandchildren Sarah (Kurt), William (Kristen), Robyn (Julien), Kurtis, Madison and Devin. His great grandchildren Kaylee and baby Roberts.

He also leaves to mourn his sisters-in-law Sylvia (late Wilfred), Dorothy (late Jerome), and Norma (late Paul), and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Sainte-Bibiane Church in Richmond on Monday September 4, 2023 from 11-12:30 followed by the service. A luncheon will be held at the Richmond Fair grounds (women’s pavilion) in Richmond following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Celiac’s Association, the Cancer Society or the Fondation l’hôpital HDA, or the charity of your choice.

A special thank you to the nursing staff of the 8th floor of the Hôtel Dieu d’Arthabaska for the wonderful care given to Vincent.

To Mrs. Morin, Trenholm, Scott and Karen:

Please accept my sincere condolences.
I was one of the many fortunate schoolkids to be bussed to school and/or home for several years by the kind and hard-working Mr. Morin (back in the 1970s). I can still picture his cheerful smile.
