It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert ‘‘Bob’’ McRoberts on February 20, 2025, at the age of 84. He was the husband of Carmen Dallaire and the son of the late James McRoberts and of the late Rigmore Andersen.
Besides his adored wife, he leaves behind his sons Steven (Rachel) and Brent, his grandchildren Tristan and Liam. He also leaves his nieces Melanie, Carolyne and his nephew Marc, his sister-in-law Nicole (the late Ronald Dallaire) as well as many relatives and friends.
To respect his wishes, there will be no memorial service. The family will hold a private family gathering at a later date.
A proud and caring family man, Robert was the beloved husband of his cherished wife Carmen, in their 60th year of marriage, whose love and partnership was the foundation of his life. As an immensely proud father and grandfather, he was a guide to his two sons and his two grandsons, bringing them wisdom, strength and encouragement. His presence in their lives was a source of unfailing inspiration and he will be greatly missed.
