HOPKINS, Robert

HOPKINS, Robert William, (1924-2009) died peacefully at the Connaught Home, North Hatley, QC on November 1, 2009 at the age of 85. He was a World War II Veteran. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Shirley Louise Marlin and father of Peter (Audrey), Stephen, the late Louise and Philip. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Jessie Hopkins and Margaret Stocker-Horton and his brother the late Harry. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren Richard, Andrew (Marisa), Randy, Shana and Matthew and great grandchildren Rebecca, Braden and Wyatt. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at the Malvern Cemetery Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11.00 a.m. The Vent. Dean Ross officiating. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 5151 Boul. De L'Assomption, Montréal, QC H1T 4A9. A special thanks to the exceptional personnel at the Connaught Home and for their compassionate care.
