1945 - 2023

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Mr. Richard Last on October 9, 2023, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his loving wife Heather McIntosh, his sister Donna and his parents Donald Last and Annie McMillan. He leaves to mourn his sons Timothy (Cathy), Christopher (Amanda) and Steven (Whitney); his grandchildren Hunter, Thatcher, Peyton, Sawyer, Fynnlee and Taytem, his sister Judy as well as his extended family.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Your expressions of sympathy can result in a donation to La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie.

The family would like to thank the staff of La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie for the excellent care provided.

C'est avec un pincement au coeur que j'ai appris le décès de Richard, un ami de longue date. Il était un ardent défenseur des valeurs de la Légion royale canadienne et de l'agriculture en général. As I write this I recall all the good times we had at Fiddle Park and Golden Lake Park Campground. I don’t think there was ever a time he left the campground without stopping by for a chat.
