René Albert Henri DALLE
August 8, 1944 - March 5, 2023
With enormous grief, we announce the passing of René Albert Henri Dalle at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, surrounded by his family.
René will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Milly; children Sarah (Teshome Hunduma), David (Kim Williams), André (Kathleen Loden), Naomi, and Esther; stepgranddaughters Kayo and Malifu (who affectionately called him “RD”); sister Michèle Juraver (Guy), and his nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the Ottawa General Hospital for the outstanding care and compassion they provided in René’s final days.
A visitation will be held for friends and family on Friday, March 10 from 2-4 pm at the Funeral Cooperative of Ottawa: 419 St-Laurent Blvd, Ottawa. Losing your loved one is the hardest thing to go through. I am saddened to hear you are all experiencing this pain now. Be patient and kind to yourselves and one another, as you all experience this grief in unique ways. Sending you all my deepest sympathies and love from the sweetest part of my heart.

J’ai tant de bons souvenirs de René qui était bon, drôle, curieux, aimant et généreux en plus d’être un travailleur inlassable. Je pense souvent à lui et à vous tous. Mes condoléances. Maman, papa et moi même vous soutenons chaleureusement dans cette dure épreuve. Maman a perdu son petit frère (comme elle dit) et demeure inconsolable. Malgré la distance, tonton René est dans nos coeurs, les photographies qu il aimait tant resteront dans nos mémoires.
Du centre de la France, Bruno, les enfants et moi vous envoyons tout notre soutien dans cette dure épreuve. Je pense à tonton René et me remémore les bons moments passés lorsque Milly et lui m'ont accueillie pour me faire découvrir leur beau pays. Il gardera une place spéciale dans mon cœur.

Je me rappelle de tonton qui avait réparé mon jeu électronique quand j'étais petit. On était allé à la plage des Sablettes (Var) ensembles car il voulait voir la mer et se baigner. Malgré la distance, il était passé me voir sur Orléans aussi pour passer un moment agréable à la maison. Mon dernier contact a été un Skype avec lui chez maman le mois dernier. Il était content. Mes sincères condoléances à tous.
Après le décé de mon tonton René, je suis très triste de vous annoncer le décé de Mme JURAVER Michèle (DALLE) aujourd’hui.
Bonsoir la famille DALLE, c'est avec le coeur très pincé que j'ai appris la très mauvaise nouvelle, le décès de notre cher père René DALLE. Toutes mes condoléances, que son âme repose en paix. Il a été la personne qui est venue me chercher à l'auto gare d'Ottawa quand je venais d'arriver pour la première fois au Canada. Il était un homme gentil et très généreux.
