ROCHON, Raoul

1925 - 2017

It is both, saddened by our loss and relieved that he is now reunited with our sweet Mom, that we announce the death of our dear father Raoul Rochon on December 3, 2017 at Résidence Vigi in Gatineau, Quebec, 18 days short of his 92^ndbirthday.

Son of the late Alphonse and Cécile Rochon. Raoul was predeceased by his beloved wife Rita on February 9, 2017. He is survived by his children : Monique, Nicole, Daniel (Louise), Gisele (Guy), Raymond (Shelley), Marthe (Bill), André (Joanne), Mireille (Sylvain), Luc (Mélanie) and Lucie (Randy). The adored grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Pepère was known for his sense of pride for his family and his sense of humour.

He also leaves a brother Denis (Lorraine) and sister Hénédine as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home and a private celebration will take place.

If desired a memorial donation can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada for Raoul’s beloved grand-daughter.

Mes sincères condoléances à l’occasion du décès de M.Raoul, que j’aimais bien.......soyez assurée de mes prières pour le repos de son âme et je demande au seigneur de venir vous apporter Force et courage pour traverser cette épreuve........même si l’on sait qu’il est libéré de sa souffrance, c’est toujours une peine qu’on ressent, quand on perd un être cher.
