Jocelyne Paquin
Toutes mes sympathies
Je pense à toi
Pierrette Paquin, age 57, passed away peacefully on June 19 2019 surrounded by loved ones at Carleton Place Memorial Hospital. She did not lose her battle with cancer, she lived graciously and courageously with it until the very end.
For many years, she worked for Correctional Services Canada in Ottawa where she developed lifelong friendships. She devoted much of her time to her daughters and her business G&G Creations which she founded to showcase their artwork. She also enjoyed creative pursuits like photography and gardening as she was always inspired by the beauty of nature. She was recognised by her friends and family as being a very selfless, caring, supportive person and she enjoyed life to the fullest.
She was born to parents Charmaine Michaud and Louis Gérard Paquin, on August 5 1961 in Montreal, Québec. Pierrette is survived by her daughters, Gabrielle and Geneviève Hoover, and their father Douglas Hoover as well as her sister Jocelyne (Luke Denault), her brothers François (Claire Morin), André, Jean, and Lucien Paquin. A special thank you to her cousin Louise Leblanc who was by her side.
Please join us for a visitation in commemoration of Pierrette Paquin’s life at Tubman Funeral Homes Garden Chapel at 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Saturday July 6th 2019 from 3:00pm-5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family would like to extend their thanks for the outstanding compassionate care she received from the doctors and nurses at home and at Carleton Place Memorial Hospital.
