MILLAR, Patricia (nee Hughes)

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Wales Home in Richmond, on Tuesday March 4th 2014, Patsy Millar at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Lloyd Millar, and dear mother of Stephen (Mary Eleanor Yack), Sharon (Richard McMorine), Alan (Linda Cowden), Randy (Kathleen Carroll) and Cathy. Loving grandmother of Evan, Issac, Travis, Jessica, Courtney, Joshua, Willam, Sydney, Jeremy, Jamie and Jane. Great grandmother of Zachary and Lily. Sister of the late Myrtle, the late Dorothy (late Ernest Lockwood), the late Elmer (Jean), Lorna (Lyman Laxson), the late Howard, Marina (late Douglas Priestly) and Donald. Patsy also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond QC, where friends may visit on Sunday March 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and on Monday from 1 to 2PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, on Monday March 10th at 2:00PM. Interment in St-Anne’s Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wales Home, 506 Rte 243N, Richmond QC J0B 2H0 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 100-2630, rue King Ouest, Sherbrooke. QC J1J 2H1, would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a special ‘Thank-you’ to the staff of the Wales Home and to ‘the girls’ for the wonderful care they provided.
