PATRICIA FISH (1949-2024) 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Fish (née Lessard), spouse of Jacques Descôteaux and daughter of the late Léa Gilbert and the late Clément Lessard.  Surrounded by loved ones, she passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on March 13th 2024 at the Ottawa Hospital.  Along with her spouse, she leaves behind her children Christine and Daniel, her step-sons Félix (Janette) and José (Caroline), her siblings Ginette Quevillon, Réjeanne Faucher (Denis), Robert Lessard (Carole), Michael Lessard (Nancy) and her nephews and nieces, that she loved dearly.  Equally, she leaves behind many relatives, friends and colleagues, all of whom she has had the pleasure to share special moments with.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for a celebration in the presence of her ashes, on Saturday May 11th, 2024 at the Hope Cemetery (4660 Bank St., Ottawa).  An 11:00AM service will be held in the Chapel followed by a reception from 12:00-2:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donating to the Ottawa Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Je vous offre mes condoléances les plus sincères.
Ce fut pour moi une grande joie de connaître et de travailler avec votre mère dans les années 1980. Elle était compétente, joviale et autonome. De plus, elle était très artistique et j'ai une de ses toiles qui me fera toujours penser à elle. Que son souvenir vous réconforte quelque peu.

Famille de Patricia Fish

Quelle triste nouvelle que j’apprends aujourd’hui. J’ai connu Patricia durant mes années dans le guidisme. Elle était une force de la nature. Elle travaillait toujours pour nous conseiller et nous guider dans nos activités avec nos filles. Quoique je ne l’ai vu pas durant les dernières annees, elle est toujours associée avec mes meilleurs souvenirs du guidisme. Elle nous manque beaucoup

Mes sincères sympathies à la famille.
Je garde de bons souvenirs de Patricia: son appui à la francophonie de Cornwall par ses initiatives au Centre culturel et surtout par sa merveilleuse idée d'ouvrir une galerie "le Corrid'art" pour les artistes de la région. Avec elle , nous avons vu naître l'Association Focus Art qui demeure, vingt ans plus tard, une force communautaire pour les arts visuels à Cornwall . Et qui peut oublier nos aventures comme "Les plein-air Junkies".
Merci Patricia. Tu demeures toujours avec nous.
