SMITH, Orville William

1931 - 2021

We regrettably announce that Orville William Smith, 90 years old, born in Mansonville, Qc, passed away at his home on November 7th, 2021, in Stanstead, Qc.  He was predeceased by his father Louis Smith and mother Evelyn Morin Smith.  

He leaves behind his sons Bill Jr. Smith (Stanstead Qc), Timothy Smith (Richard)(Lac Megantic), Ricky Smith (Davyn)(Montreal) and Danny Smith (Jo)(Cookshire); his grandchildren Ashley Smith (Thailand), Justin Roderick (Stanstead), Jonathan Smith (Sherbrooke), Jermey Smith (Sherbrooke) and Zachary Smith (Stanstead); his 5 great grandchildren as well as his sister Jeanette Smith (Vermont). He was predeceased by his brother John Smith and his sisters Hazel Smith (Walker), Alice Smith (Codey), Gladys Smith (Davis), Vivian B Smith. 

There will be no viewing or funeral, however private memoriam will be held at home with family and close friends.

The family wishes to thank to Cass funeral home and the Sherbrooke crematory for their services.

You lived life to the fullest, and made people see only good things in this life. We are all grateful to you for that and we will always be. You gave us meaning, you showed us that we should help each other and not hate each other. You were something special. I hope to see you one day in heaven. Rest in peace uncle Bill .gone but not forgotten.
