1937 - 2023

Nora Jean Robinson, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on October 22, 2023. She was born on August 16, 1937, and her journey through life was filled with warmth, love, and cherished moments.

Nora was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert (Rod) Bennett Robinson, and her daughter, Bonnie MacArthur. Her daughter & husband, Sydney, continues to carry their shared memories. Nora's legacy lives on through her surviving children: Martin Robinson and his wife Rocio, Robert (Bob) Robinson and his partner Jean Godmaire, Winnie Goddard and her husband Rob, and Connie Hastings and her partner Larry Bowen. Nora's family tree flourished with the addition of her grandchildren: Kristan (Krissy) Johnston and her husband Ryan, Amanda (Mandie) O'Byrne and her husband Jay, Heather MacArthur, Erica MacArthur, Katherine (Kathy) Wright, Rebecca (Becky) Goddard, Tara Robinson, Jason Robinson, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Nora's memory will continue to bring comfort to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. In our hearts, she will forever remain.


A memorial service to celebrate Nora Jean Robinson's life will be held on November 5, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Thornloe Crossroads Baptist Church. Please join us in remembering and honouring Nora who touched our lives in many ways.

Nora's family

Nora was a great friend to our Mom over the years. The 2 of them spent hours on the phone and they stayed connected despite physical distances. My deepest sympathy on your loss of a mom, a grandma, a great grandma and a friend.
