It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Monique Haspect on April 27, 2024, at the age of 70.
Beloved wife of Seny Souaré, daughter of the late Roger Haspect and the late Rita St-Amour. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Mathieu and Anabel (Adam), her grandson Alexander, her sister Francine; her brothers: Jules (Louise) and Denis (Anne) as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends, especially Micheline Daigle, Lamine Diallo and Mohamed Tandian.
To respect her wishes, a celebration will be held at a later date in the privacy of the family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Monique’s passing.
She was a very caring soul who will be missed.
She would often drop in to visit my mother her Aunt Carmen. They would have wonderful visits which my mother always enjoyed.

Bonjour cousins et cousine, je tiens a vous raconter une petite histoire sur Monique. Depuis toujours , je suis a la recherche de compléter l'histoire de la famille Haspect. Je savais qu'une de nos tante le faisais et j'ai su que Monique aussi, avait cette passion. J'ai donc pris contact avec elle, et je suis aller la rencontrer chez elle. Ca faisait très longtemps que je ne l'avais pas vu, et ce fut un plaisir de la revoir, malgré ces douleurs a un pied qui l'incommodait. Elle m'a reçu avec ses grands yeux rempli de curiosité a mon égard, et avec la douceur qu'on lui connait. Sur mon départ, elle a insisté pour me donner une petite couverture, qu'elle a elle-même crocheté. J'ai trouvé son geste généreux....Je vous envoies mes plus sincères sympathies a tous, et que le temps puisse adoucir votre peine...
Our sincere condolences on the loss of Monique. I remember going to the hospital with Fran soon after Anabel was born, and Monique was glowing with happiness!
Monique was always a phone call away. I'm glad we kept in touch all these years from afar. She called me by my name and sometimes called me Anabel. But Anabel you tell me your mom would often call you Francine. Guess our names were interchangeable. We answered to both. Made me chuckle. After a lifetime of memories, I will miss my sis, very much. You have my heartfelt sympathy and my unwavering support. All my love
I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Monique. We are the same age and I have many fond memories playing together when we visited Buckingham and Ottawa in our youth. Although I have never met you Souare, I have heard a lot about you and your family (good things). Monique was always kind and considerate to our Mother, Carmen. I will always hold fond memories in my heart.

Je travail dans le grand monde de l'automobile. Monique fut une des nombreuses personne que j'ai pu rencontrer, mais je me souviens de cette cliente d'une gentillesse incroyable qui venais toujours me saluer quand elle était a la concession !!! R.I.P belle Monique !!
