JOHN PATRICK, Millen

1962 - 2024

June 26, 1962 - February 8, 2024

The Millen Family is greatly saddened to announce the passing of our dear son, brother, uncle, John Millen after a sudden illness.

John is survived by his dear parents, Gary and Macrina, his sisters, Colleen (Hans) and Linda (Jeff), his brother Tom (Nancy), nieces, Katherine (Matthew), Laura (Thomas), Amy(Nana), Erin and Clara, his nephews, Adam, Liam and Grady, grand nephews, Theodore and Connor and grand nieces, Eloise and Daphne.

John was proud of his 25 year career in the precision optics industry where he made life-long friends.  He will be remembered for his wicked sense of humour, his love of good friends and nature and his willingness to always lend a hand.  His hobbies included snowmobiling, model trains and his beloved 2001 Dodge pickup.

The memorial service and internment will be held this summer in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Montfort ICU staff for their care and kindness to our John.

The Millen family

My deepest sympathies to the Millen family on your loss. I met John in the late 70's and spent a lot of time hanging out with him, Tom and the rest of the gang in Queenswood Village. John was a great guy with a quick wit. We had many good times and I will always cherish those memories. RIP John!
