1941-2012
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Marianne Edey Clowater after a short battle with cancer. Marianne passed away peacefully on December 9, 2012, at La Maison l’envol surrounded by her family and close friends.
Marianne was predeceased by her parents Bruce and Olive Edey, brothers in law Cyril and Robert Clowater, mother and father in law Robert and Caroline Clowater, sister in law Jean Clowater and her son in law James Whelan.
Marianne is survived by her husband Carl, daughter Robin (Pierre Desjardins) of Kirkland Lake. Her pride and joy grand-daughter Kelsey Whelan of Kirkland Lake. Marianne is also survived by her brother in law Harold (Marilyne) Clowater of Kirkland Lake, Jude (Lorraine) Clowater of Espanola, and her sister in law Ann Fortin of Mattawa as well as her brother Robert (Valerie) Edey of Mahone Bay, Nova-Scotia.
Marianne is also survived by her many nieces and nephews as well as her adoptive daughter Brenda Madill. She will also be missed by her many friends with whom she met for coffee on a daily basis.
Visiting will be held at the Complexe Funéraire J.H. Fleury, 515 Chenier Avenue in Rouyn-Noranda on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 10 am.
A ceremony will be held in the funeral chapel at 11am.

Madame Marianne Edey Clowater laisse dans le deuil son époux Monsieur Carl Clowater, sa fille Robin conjointe de Pierre Desjardins, sa petite-fille Kelsey Whelan, son frère Robert conjoint de Valerie, ses beaux-frères Harold Clowater conjoint de Marilyne, Jude Clowater conjoint de Lorraine, sa belle-sœur Ann Clowater Fortin, plusieurs neveux et nièces, ainsi que de nombreux autres parents et amis.
Madame Marianne Edey Clowater sera exposée à compter de 10 h le samedi 15 décembre 2012 au Complexe Funéraire J.H. Fleury du 515, Avenue Chénier à Rouyn-Noranda.
Une cérémonie aura lieu également le samedi matin à 11 h à la chapelle du Complexe Funéraire J.H. Fleury.
L’ouverture du complexe sera à 10 h le samedi matin.
Un don au Sourire de Martin ou à la Maison l’envol de Rouyn-Noranda serait apprécié.
