1952 - 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Fernanda Medeiros on August 18th, 2024, at the age of 71. She was the daughter of the late Paulino Placido De Medeiros and of the late Maria de Estrela De Couto Leite.
She leaves behind her loving husband and companion José Carlos Melo, her dear daughters Sonia and Catarina (Alexander) and her adorable grandchildren Diego and Mateo. She also leaves behind her brothers and her sister, as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends in Canada and in Portugal.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, at 12 noon at Notre-Dame-de-Fatima's Church, 42 Hanson Street in Gatineau (Hull Sector). The family will receive condolences as of 11 am.
