LACHAINE (NÉE LABELLE), Marcelle

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcelle Lachaine (Labelle) on April 13, 2024 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of late Raymond Lachaine and daughter of late Roch Labelle and late Irène DeHaitre.

Marcelle leaves her three daughters: Nicole (Gabriel Ouimet), Denyse (Mark Deriger) and Lise (Daniel Villeneuve); her six grandchildren: Éric Ouimet (Catherine Leclerc), Marc Ouimet (Khadeejat Momoh), Alex McCourt, Emilie Villeneuve (Étienne Petit), Karine Villeneuve (Dominick Pelletier-Rivard) and Benoit Villeneuve (Noémie Letang-Larabie); her four great-grandchildren: Ariane Ouimet, Malik Ouimet, Flavie Rivard and Florence Rivard.

She also leaves her sister-in-law: Carole Mayer (late André Lachaine) and several nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Besides her husband and parents, Marcelle is also predeceased by her sisters and brothers: Philippe, Henri, Aline, Madeleine, Jeanne, Guy and Léo.

To pay homage to Marcelle, a funeral service will be held on May 5, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd in Gatineau (Hull sector). Visitations will be held from 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. It will be possible to view the ceremony, live or by replay, by following the link: https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/89349

Que de beaux souvenirs que nous gardons tous de Marcelle, elle a été une bonne voisine et surtout une bonne amie. Raymond, Marcelle et les enfants ont fait parti de notre vie. Nous sommes tristes de ne pas être avec vous physiquement mais sachez que la Famille Baril pense à vous.
