It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family announces the passing of Marcel on Sunday August 6, 2017 with loved ones by his side.

Loving husband of Debbie Wall and dearly loved father of Lindsay (Andras Szeri) and Brandon (Briana Brissette) and loving stepfather to Lindsay Arnold (Darby McDonald) and Adam Arnold (Kimberly Parizeau); dear grandfather to Cameron, Caitlyn, Riley, Payton and Austin.  Marcel also leaves behind many loved siblings, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and close friends.

A private celebration of Marcel's life will take place on Monday, August 14 at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau, at 10 a.m. for family and close friends.

The family would like to thank all those who have supported them during this difficult journey and a special thank you to Marcel's devoted nurse Chelsey who was with the family during the most difficult moments.

Marcel and family,

I truly cannot believe you are gone. You were meant to survive. I am so proud of you fighting no one else could. You had many reasons to survive and you totally gave her. I cannot imagine life without you my friend/brother. As a child I remember we played together with cars, cards and games in general. You taught me a lot from right and wrong. You loved me at my best and and at my worst. This is unconditional love which is priceless. I would at this time add to his obituary.

This obituary includes my parents Violette Magnan (Cousineau), Marcel Magnan and my sister Diane whom are pre-deceaced. This obituary also includes Diane pre-deceaced (Robert Archambault), Denise (Michel Rochon), Frank Magnan (Anne Belec), Suzanne (Louise Deroroches), Angele (Raymond Gagnon) and Francine Magnan (Michel Prevost).
